Shounak has a Master’s in Biotechnology from the University of Calcutta winning a research fellowship from the Indian National Science Academy.
He has a Ph.D. in Molecular Neuroscience from Saha Institute of Nuclear Physics, India and postdoctoral fellowships from Case Western Reserve University, USA and Karolinska Institute, Sweden.
Shounak focuses on the scientific and technical program at Causality Biomodels.
Shounak has 10+ years of experience in molecular neurobiology, cell biology, biophysics, and systems biology, working in multicultural teams from across the globe. He also has many acclaimed certifications on various topics in biology including the certification on Biomedical Research Data Management from Harvard Medical School & National Institute of Health, Laboratory Animal Science for Researcher from the Karolinska Institute and Future Faculty Certification from the Case Western Reserve University. He has also authored many high ranking international scientific articles.
Outside work: He loves coffee, landscape and street photography, hiking and reading books from different countries.
